My very own French reception is fast approaching – my book Orwell à Paris will be published on the 23rd of April – and in 1935, Orwell’s first book was set for French Publication in July. Nicolas Ragonneau (the translator of my book) has written a piece on how the French press reacted to Orwell’s debut La Vache Enragée (Down & Out in Paris & London). The Paris launch of my book Orwell à Paris takes place on Thursday the 25th of April at the Hotel Littéraire Le Swann in Paris’ 8th Arrondissement at 19h. Anyone is welcome to attend the presentation, questions and signing.
